Teacher Excellence: Ensuring Student Competitiveness

Cadre 2 began with three four-day teacher workshops held in Oak Ridge, Tennessee in July 2008. These workshops were part of a statewide project to assist teachers in developing advanced math and science activities for the classroom. Participants in the workshops can view the presentations and other material from the workshop they attended by logging in below (note: user name and password required):

Program Overview

Cadre 2 teachers will participate from Summer 2008-Spring 2010. This cadre will consist of 120 teachers (60 in science and 60 in mathematics) from across the state (40 in East Tennessee, 40 in Middle Tennessee, and 40 in West Tennessee). The math focus will be pre-calculus/calculus. The science focus will be physics/physical science.
