2007 Workshop
The 2007 China-US Joint Workshop Environmental Aspects of Bioenergy Production and Sustainability was held September 11-13, 2007 in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. Workshop participants included UT, ORNL, and CAS researchers; and National Program Leaders from CAS and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The key issues addressed in the workshop were:
- technology of bioethanol production from cellulosic materials;
- potential impacts of bioenergy production on eco-environmental systems; and
- international collaboration.
